What is the Evidence Graph?
The Evidence Graph is 1docAI's central data architecture — a unified, AI-powered health record that goes far beyond a traditional Electronic Medical Record (EMR). Where an EMR stores what happened, the Evidence Graph understands why it happened, predicts what will happen next, and recommends what to do about it.
Every data point generated by a 1docAI patient — clinic visits, wearable telemetry from the 1doc Ring and 1doc Band, pharmacy dispensing events, health coach interactions, blood pressure readings from Omron devices — flows into the Evidence Graph in real time and is immediately contextualised against the patient's complete clinical history.
"A traditional EMR is a filing cabinet. The Evidence Graph is a clinician that never forgets, never sleeps, and never stops watching."
— Dr Eugene Loke, CMO, 1docAI Pte Ltd
How does it work?
Singapore's ageing population and rising chronic disease burden require a shift from reactive hospitalisation to proactive community care. The Evidence Graph is the data infrastructure that makes this shift possible at scale.
By identifying health trajectories — not just snapshots — the Evidence Graph enables 1docAI's health coaches and physicians to intervene before a diabetic patient's HbA1c becomes a hospitalisation event, before a hypertensive patient's blood pressure trend becomes a cardiac emergency.
This is the clinical intelligence layer that powers Mission Zero: the elimination of preventable disease events.
Why does the Evidence Graph matter for Singapore?
The Evidence Graph is structured around a patient's Health Digital Twin — a continuously updated computational model of that individual's health state. This model integrates:
Evidence Graph and NEHR integration
1docAI's Evidence Graph is integrated with Singapore's National Electronic Health Record (NEHR), ensuring that every 1doc patient's data is accessible across the national healthcare system — and that national health data enriches the Evidence Graph in return. This bidirectional integration is a key component of 1docAI's alignment with the Ministry of Health's Healthier SG strategy.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
The Evidence Graph is an AI-powered health record that doesn't just store your medical history — it actively analyses it to predict health risks before they become health events. Think of it as a clinician that has memorised every detail of your health across your entire life and is continuously watching for early warning signs. -
A traditional EMR records what happened at each clinical visit. The Evidence Graph connects all data sources — clinics, wearables, pharmacy, health coaching — into a single living model that identifies patterns and trajectories. It tells you not just what happened, but what is likely to happen next.
-
Yes. 1docAI's Evidence Graph is integrated with Singapore's National Electronic Health Record (NEHR), which is certified by the Ministry of Health. This means your 1doc health data is accessible across the Singapore healthcare system, and national health data enriches your Evidence Graph.
-
Access is governed by Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). The patient's 1doc family physician, assigned health coach, and authorised clinical staff can access relevant data. All data access is logged and auditable.
-
A Health Digital Twin is a continuously updated computational model of an individual patient's health state. Built from all data flowing into the Evidence Graph, it serves as a personalised baseline against which AI systems can detect anomalies, model intervention outcomes, and generate predictive health timelines.
